The shoulder pad is an update to the popular JPK series and includes changes to the corrugations and epaulets along with an attached back plate to extend the protection. The JPK+ includes Riddell's Integrated RipKord Technology, a release mechanism within the shoulder pad that allows trainers and medical staff to easily remove the pads in the event of an injury. The STAC Shoulder System allows the caps and epaulets to lay flat, providing maximum AC joint protection while allowing for maximum range of motion.
